
According to a new study based on a survey of Bloomberg and YouGov, Google + has attracted the attention of 13% of U.S. adults, and can reach 22% in one year, from Twitter and LinkedIn as the social network number two the country.
The survey revealed that 71% of American adults use Facebook, but that number should drop to 69% in one year. Among those using the two social networks, 30% said they plan to cut the time they spend on Facebook. However, 31% of Google users said they left their + accounts or never posted them.
Twitter and LinkedIn will continue to grow: the prediction of the study is that Twitter will increase its user base by 3% over a year and reaches 20% of the U.S. population. Since LinkedIn is expected to increase 2% and also get a 20% stake.
According to the survey, 45% of participants who have said Google Profile + read content on the site daily. On Facebook, this rate is 62%, on Twitter, 42%, and LinkedIn, 8%.
The study involved 1,003 U.S. adults between July 29 and August 2 this year.
