Google blogspot url redirecting to country specific url

Google is implementing a new system that automatically redirects users to country-specific URLs that match their IP address' location, like this blogspot.com to blogspot.in address. When view other countries as well. Blog like example.blogspot.com could redirect to example.blogspot.com.pk from a visitor pakistan and in singapore viewed example.blogspot.com.sg.

Why specific url?

Why is Google switching to country-specific url. Simple this gives them the ability to censor content hosted on Blogger country wise.

Majority of BlogSpot blog owners would be worried about the SEO for their blogs; however, Google has said that they will try to minimize the negative consequences of hosting BlogSpot content on multiple domains. They are also suggesting users to add rel="canonical" directive to their blogs.
