Basic iPhone Repair Tips for Low Battery Life and Faulty Speakers

A problem should be dealt with first by the parties involved before they seek outside help to resolve the conflict. This is my principle with regards to my relationships and apparently, it includes the one I have with my iPhone 4s. Let me tell you more about my experiences.

Oftentimes, a relationship is at its peak when it is still new and exciting. Slowly it degrades, especially when problems arise and the same old issues are repeated over and over. It then comes to a point that you become so used to it, you get the habit of tolerating the mess. I had the same problem with my iPhone 4S. Initially, I was filled with delight with its new features and exciting apps. However, I have observed that the OS I am using does not help much to conserve my battery life. My iPhone then goes dead in just less than a day.

Thankfully, Apple acknowledged this and thus released iOS 5.1.1. When I first knew this, I immediately updated my software. Furthermore, I opted to switch Siri off once in a while. Siri is great, but I can accomplish most tasks even without her, so I use her only when the need arises. Same goes with my 3G connectivity as this is the most power consuming feature of the gadget. Now, my relationship with my iPhone has spiced up more than ever!

The problem does not end there though. Like in a relationship, there are times that one party simply cannot express the problem to the other. But with a touch of persistence and resourcefulness, this can also be addressed. When it comes to iPhone repair, there are simple troubleshooting tips for speakers that don’t “speak up”. Actually, from the two speaker grills at the bottom of your iPhone, only the right one is the actual speaker and the left serves as a microphone.

When the speaker just can’t work, you can try to refresh your iPhone by holding down the sleep and home buttons until the Apple logo appears on-screen. This is because, sometimes, switching from an earpiece to audio speaker confuses your iPhone. It may still be stuck on the impression that the earpiece is still attached. You can also try to check if the speakers and the headset jack are both clean. Any obstruction on those areas can affect the transmittance from your iPhone to your audio tools.

To add as well, refreshing your iPhone is also helpful for issues like frozen apps or unresponsive screen. Another alternative is restoring your iPhone factory settings, but most people wish to avoid this since it’s an option to delete phone memory content.

What I'm trying to say here is that we do not need to spend hundreds of bucks to fix wounded relationships, especially the one you have with your iPhone. All we need is an initiative for immediate remedy and proper communication. Take advantage of the multiple do-it-yourself troubleshooting sites out there and you'll be surprised on how simple the solution may be. And with the money you saved with the quick fix, you can use that to wow your partner instead with an experience the both you will never forget.
